Bluebeard Coffee Roasters on 6th Ave is a good start, and Valhalla Coffee is further west on the same street. Downtown, King's Books is the anchor: a large independent shop with events most weeks. The Pacific Northwest Shop in Proctor is worth the drive for regional goods, and Metronome Coffee makes a quiet last stop. Nothing here needs a reservation — this Trek is meant to be rearranged.
