Add Tacoma Trekker to your Home Screen
Tacoma Trekker works like an app once you add it: a Home Screen icon, full-screen maps and no app store needed.
iPhone & iPad (Safari)
- Open tacomatrekker.com in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow).
- Scroll and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
- Tap “Add”. The Tacoma Trekker compass appears on your Home Screen.
Safari is required on iPhone and iPad — Chrome on iOS does not offer this option.
Android (Chrome)
- Open tacomatrekker.com in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu, top right.
- Tap “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”.
- Confirm with “Install”.
Samsung Internet and Edge use the same menu with slightly different wording.
Desktop (Chrome & Edge)
- Open tacomatrekker.com.
- Click the install icon in the address bar, or the browser menu.
- Choose “Install Tacoma Trekker”.
Safari on Mac can add it to the Dock from File → Add to Dock.
What you get

- Full-screen maps without browser bars.
- Your saved places stay on your device.
- A connection is still needed. Live information — events, weather, road conditions — is never shown from an old copy.
