Proctor is a compact neighbourhood centre — a few blocks of independent shops, a historic cinema and coffee. It is small enough to cover slowly in an afternoon, and it pairs well with the neighbourhood farmers market if you are here on a market day.
Most shops here keep shorter hours than downtown and some close on Mondays.
