Notes

Point Defiance is large enough to fill a day on its own, so this Trek keeps the pace slow: one paid attraction, then open space and shoreline. Do the indoor and ticketed part first while everyone has energy, and save the beach for the end. Check current hours and admission before you go, and pack layers — the shoreline is cooler than downtown.
