Glassblowing

Blow your own glass at Tacoma Glassblowing Studio

Make a piece of glass yourself in a working Tacoma hot shop, guided by studio staff. The studio publishes which pieces are offered, how long a session takes and what it costs.

Hours, prices, seasons and reservation rules change. Confirm on the official page before you go — Tacoma Trekker is an independent visitor platform.

Tacoma Glassblowing Studio runs guided sessions in its Dome District hot shop, a short walk from the Tacoma Dome and a few minutes from the Museum of Glass. Sessions are hands-on and beginner-friendly, and finished glass needs to cool overnight before pickup or shipping. Check the studio's own page for what is currently offered, availability and pricing — we do not hold those details here.

Hot glass work: the studio sets its own age, clothing and safety requirements — read them on its site before booking.
